Creativity cleanses my mind and restores my soul
I picked up woodworking as a hobby in 2014 because I wanted to make stuff. People started to take notice and even suggested that I might have a little talent (I don’t know about that last part). This hobby has slowly morphed into something from which I derive immense satisfaction and provides many mental health benefits. Woodworking exercises a part of my brain that is neglected by my “day job” (I am an attorney by trade). Today, making stuff provides a forum where I sort out the other aspects of my life in order to become a better spouse, father and employee.
